Question: Is Jesus really God?

Question: Since Jesus is called the “Son of God” so often, doesn’t that mean He is a created being, and not really God?
Answer: A great many times in the Bible Jesus is referred to as God, both from His own declarations and from prophecies.

Back in Old Testament times, there were no photographs or movies to explain God’s great plan of salvation. So God did the next best thing - He had Moses build the sanctuary, where every single thing in it symbolized a part of Jesus’ ministry.

Question: Can’t we pick our Sabbath day?

The question: Since the Sabbath was made for man to experience God, can’t we just choose any day we want for our Sabbath?
The answer: God instituted His Sabbath on the seventh day of the week, intending it to be a memorial of the Creation and of His love for us. We shouldn’t change His memorial day any more than a husband should change the date of his anniversary.

Question: What should I include in my testimony?
Question: When bearing my testimony, should I include illegal things I’ve done?
Answer: In your testimony, make sure to include everything that’s relevant to the life of the person to whom you are giving your testimony.

Question: Why did Jesus have to suffer before dying?
The question: If Jesus had to die for our sins, why did he have to be tortured and crucified? Why couldn’t he just die quickly?
The answer is that in order to pay for our sins, Jesus had to die the most ignominious death possible. In the Old Testament, a man hung on a tree was considered cursed of God, the most separated one could possibly be from Him.

Message 4 - What Brings Us Peace?

So now we know how chaos began in the first place, and how God intended for us to have peace, but now that chaos is around, how can we regain peace?
Pastor Gayle Lasher examines Genesis for an accurate depiction of what happened in the Garden of Eden when Eve was first deceived by the clever serpent. We were all affected by the Fall, but it’s our choice to be saved by the great sacrifice of Jesus, by God stepping down from His throne and taking the form of man, that he might pay the price for our sins.
